Bougainvillea Safari Lodge

Bougainvillea Safari Lodge currently has twenty-four cottages and is in the process of adding a few more. Each cozy room has mosquito-netted king or twin beds, a fireplace, large bathroom with shower and a veranda from which to enjoy the views of our lush tropical gardens.

Triples are possible with prior notice and two of the cottages can be used as family suites, with connecting rooms. There is a large common area building housing reception, lounge, bar, gift shop and dining rooms. The swimming pool sits in the centre of the property surrounded by the cottages and gardens.

Guests wanting to experience local culture can easily walk from Bougainvillea Safari Lodge into town from the lodge to experience a bustling African community.

Food & Drink

With the skills of Chef Reggie, it is no wonder that many compliments are related to the food at Bougainvillea.

Meals are served family style and naturally, ensure special dietary requirements are met.
Private dining can be arranged in the dining bandas just off the main dining room. They also can prepare both picnic breakfast and picnic lunch for guests heading out to the Ngorongoro Crater or Lake Manyara National Park.

The lodge also offers a bar with a selection of popular soft drinks, wines, beers, and spirits. Aside from the dining room, there are small bandas for private meals or small meetings.
